Thrilla ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Jason Hewat as an individual. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Thrilla mobile application and website at getthrilla.com.

By using Thrilla, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Device token — a push notification token to deliver alerts to your device.
• Sport and team preferences — the sports, teams, and alert thresholds you configure.
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, including features used and alerts received.
• Contact and waitlist submissions — your email address if you sign up for launch notifications or contact us via the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver real-time push notifications for sporting events that match your preferences.
• Create and manage your account.
• Personalise your alert settings and in-app experience.
• Respond to support enquiries and feedback.
• Send launch notifications and product updates to users who have opted in.
• Improve the app and fix issues.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Push Notifications

Thrilla's core function is to deliver push notifications when sporting events meet your defined thresholds. You can control notification preferences at any time within the app. You may also disable notifications entirely through your device's system settings.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and row-level security to ensure your data is isolated and protected.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Thrilla uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — push notification delivery
• Expo / EAS — app distribution platform
• Railway — backend hosting
• Tally — website form submissions

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time.
• Unsubscribe from launch or marketing emails at any time.
